Laura Dryjanska, newest Whittier Rotarian

Laura a Rotary Whittier 4 maggio per Human Trafficking

Good May to You, Rotarians,

Laura Dryjanska, our newest Whittier Rotarian and assistant professor at BIOLA University, is our guest speaker this Friday, May 4, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Uptown Whittier.

Dr. Dryjanska’s topic is the focus of her teaching and her research: the scourge of human trafficking.

Laura was the Coordinator of the Rotarian Action Group Against Slavery for Italy. Currently, she is active in the Rotary District efforts to counter human trafficking in southern California.

Born in Poland, earning her doctorate in Italy, Laura is fluent in five languages.

This is a sobering topic, but one that is of critical importance around the world and in our local community.
