Rotarian Action Group Against Child Slavery

Key Objectives:

Create awareness: Tell Rotarians and the wider public that millions of children are held captive for commercial gain.

Take action. Support, work with and and promote anti-slavery bodies and activities worldwide with programmes, campaigns and projects that help to protect children from slavery and its consequences.
Slavery is declared illegal around the globe

Yet there are more slaves now than ever – an estimated 27 million – many in your country. That’s over twice the number of people taken out of Africa in the 400 years of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Arguably, however, modern slaves have fewer rights, are worth less, and are in greater danger than ever before.

This Rotarian Action Group is not an agency of, or controlled by, Rotary International.
